WHO WE ARE

Madison Art Consulting provides an array of elite quality services including commissioned art, accessories, inspirational concepts, graphic design, innovative frame selection, vinyl wall covering, printable substrates, along with delivery and installation. We offer complete project management for the healthcare, hospitality, commercial and government agencies nationwide.

Founded in 2001 Madison Art Consulting brings a unique, collaborative and elite approach to creative design. Owner and founder, Nicole Marengo, comes from the philosophy of “build it better together.” Growing up in the Bronx and Blackwood, New Jersey, Nicole learned at a young age the power of passionate entrepreneurship. She graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelors of Science in Business, Minoring in Marketing and Art. With passions rooted in education, innovation, entrepreneurship and challenging the status quo, Nicole was eager to jump right into her career and work her way up.​

When her corporate career and personal interests took her overseas, she became enamored with European architecture and learned the value of teamwork, high-level marketing and professional accountability. Nicole visited the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona by famed architect Antoni Guadi and she was fascinated by the basilica’s complex design history- the exemplar of her “build it better together” philosophy.​

After five years with ING Direct as an Interior Design and Facilities Coordinator, Nicole was inspired and driven to start her own business, Madison Art Consulting. ING Direct was even her first client! Despite opening up during a recession, Madison Art Consulting thrived. Nicole remarked, “I’m so proud of humankind, we actually forget how beautiful we are, how we are able to overcome high stress and strife and to come out of that on top.” As a Latina, woman-owned business, Madison Art Consulting has much to be proud of. Our work has been featured in Healthcare Design Magazine, Contract Magazine, Healthcare Snapshot, PBS and Fox’s “The 215: Local Loves in Architecture and Design.” Nicole serves on the Board of Women in Healthcare and supports the local International Interior Design Association, Network of Executive Women in Hospitality, and the Mural Arts Program.​

Madison Art Consulting operates nationwide, with home offices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Our design work is deeply rooted in the history and culture of Philadelphia, which is showcased at our shared showroom space in The Bourse in Old City Philadelphia. Our core staff and consultants bring a cumulative 86 years of creative consulting, project management, graphic design, studio art, installation and interior design experience. The close-knit team specializes in the healthcare, hospitality, commercial, life sciences and government sectors. Recent projects include, Arthaus, St. Luke’s Pediatric Specialty Center and GEODIS. These projects highlight their intentional, inquisitive design work that carefully incorporates the needs of the clients, as well as the populations they serve. Nicole Marengo – Founder, CEO, Creative Director

• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Secondary Education with a minor in MIS and Art – Rowan University
• Director of Healing Arts Program and Education at Madison Art Consulting
• Communications Board Chair for Women in Healthcare’s Philadelphia Chapter

Nicole has 25 years of experience in the Art and Interior Design Industry. Since starting her business in 2001, Nicole’s focus on therapeutic art and creative branding provides clients the expertise they need to create timeless, artistic projects. Nicole’s passion is to create a unique healing environment through artistic expression to promote well-being.

Nicole is hands-on from the beginning stages, conducting meetings with clients and design partners to guide conceptual design of projects. With her intimate knowledge of the Madison team and local network of artists, Nicole is crucial in selecting the perfect artist and style to match our clients’ design needs and intentions.

Michele McCleery – Project Manager

• Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education – Salisbury University
• 22 Years of clerical experience using Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
• Concept Development Specialist, client liaison, installation scheduling, presentation design, art curation, procurement, management of custom and commissioned artwork
• Curated and Procured Artwork for over 500 projects
• Strengths: Detail-oriented, highly organized information manager, creative problem solving, ability to multitask, unique understanding of design and coordinating thematic concepts

Michele is an organizational and communication powerhouse who expertly manages daily correspondence and client accounts at Madison. Behind the scenes, she is a Concept Development Specialist who curates artwork and imagery for a range of projects. As a detail-oriented, creative problem solver, Michele coordinates intricate logistics of our procurement and installation processes.

Emily Duncan MSIA – Lead Creative and Technical Designer

• Masters of Interior Architecture – Philadelphia University
• Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, Minor in Management – Philadelphia University
• International Studies – Danish Institute of Study Abroad [Copenhagen, Denmark] and American University of Rome [Rome, Italy]
• Digital Skills: Adobe Photoshop & InDesign, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Membership CRM Software
• Machine Skills: industrial and home sewing machines and sergers, cabinet grade woodworking power and hand tools
• Strengths: Healing Art Design, Space Planning, Creative Concepts, Design/Build experience, creation of technical specifications

Emily has 12 years of experience in detailed specifications for interior design, commercial furniture and custom woodworking. As Creative and Technical Designer, Emily assists with consultation, creative design development, specifications, and production coordination. She manages production of renderings and visuals, detailed custom build specifications, material procurement and production coordination of custom builds for our clients.

​Studio Artist Team

Madison Art Consulting has a team of artists and designers well-versed in traditional and creative design styles with experience in healthcare, corporate and housing environments. In-house graphic designers, painters, sculptors, woodworkers, glass artists, photographers, textile artists, and other creative designers are available for a wide range of projects. No project is too big or small, intricate or extravagant for our team of design and build specialists!

​Installation Team

Our team of experienced art handlers manage all of our deliveries and on-site installations. From standard wall hangings to custom created wonders, our team takes pride and care in your new art works as well as the spaces they inhabit. Whether in a healthcare setting or corporate office, we schedule to accommodate the site and leave the space clean.
